High Quality Brick Painting and Staining Service in Denver and Surrounding Areas
Should you paint or stain your brick? Well, it depends.
If the brick hasn't already been painted, the best option would probably be to stain the brick.
Brick is porous and retains moisture so when the weather gets to freezing temperature, the moisture inside the brick turns to ice and deteriorates the inside of your brick. The other issue with painting brick is that it tends to chip and peel which will require more maintenance in the long-term.
The only reason we would recommend painting brick is if the brick has already been painted.
Staining the brick with a concrete masonry stain, however; will allow you to change the color (to any color you like) and the stain is absorbing into the brick and not sealing it. This option will also last much longer than paint as well.
